About odella

Odella Howe is a former ghostwriter and married mother of four who is finally fulfilling her dream of being a horror author. Now taking “ghostwriting” literally, she delights in crafting supernatural stories that both terrify and thrill her readership.

From the time she could check out books like Scary Stories To Read In The Dark, she loved terrifying tales, and soon moved on to reading such authors as Stephen King and Shirley Jackson.

Her highly rated debut novel, The Violin, combines her lifelong passion for dark fiction and her obsession with Saint-Saens’s haunting composition, “Danse Macabre.”

When not writing, Odella enjoys hiking the stunning foothills of Utah, sewing, and spending time with her family.
